Study: Many Americans have uncontrolled blood pressure
Study: Many Americans have uncontrolled blood pressure - Ali Gorman reports during Action News at 5pm on October 19, 2017.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Nearly one in three Americans has high blood pressure. And now a new study shows only about half have it under control.

This means many are at a greater risk for heart attack or stroke.

It seems young men 18 to 34 may be the least compliant.

Controlling your blood pressure comes down to a healthy diet, exercise, stress management and in many cases, the right medication at the right dose.
