Heavy flames damage house in Strawberry Mansion

STRAWBERRY MANSION -- A fast-moving fire damaged a house in Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion section early Friday morning.

The blaze started around 12:30 a.m. on THE 1800 block of North Taylor Street.

Heavy flames were showing on the second floor when firefighters arrived.

Officials say the house was vacant and the fire spread to a neighboring home.

The residents were evacuated but were able to return to their house a short time later.

There were no injuries reported.
