HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left a man fighting for his life in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia early Saturday morning.
The incident happened just before 3:00 a.m. on the 3900 block of North 9th Street.
The victim, a 37-year-old man was shot in the head, chest and groin.
He was rushed to Temple University Hospital in very critical condition.
Witnesses told police that after the gunshots were heard, two unidentified black males were seen running south on 9th Street then west on Pike Street.
So far, there is no word on what sparked the shooting.
