2 hospitalized after I-95 crash in Newark

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Two people are recovering after a crash on I-95 in Newark, Delaware.

The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday on I-95 South near Route 273.

Delaware State Police say the driver lost control and ran off the road crashing into the guard rail.

The front end of the car suffered extensive damage.

A couple inside the vehicle was taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment.
