Suspect flees in Delco wrong way I-95 crash

RIDLEY TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A suspect is on the loose after a police chase in Ridley Township, Delaware County, that saw a driver going the wrong way on I-95.

Police say the suspect was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of I-95 near I-495 when his car crashed into another vehicle.

The suspect jumped out of his car and ran into a nearby wooded area.

Officers used K-9 units and thermal imaging cameras, but couldn't locate the driver.

There's no word on the condition of the other driver who was injured in the accident.

Police have not said why they were pursuing the car.
