Crash sends SUV into side of school in Juniata

JUNIATA (WPVI) -- Six people were injured in a crash that sent a SUV into the side of a school in Philadelphia's Juniata section.

The accident happened just before 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of L Street and Luzerne Street.

Two vehicles collided, sending one of the vehicles into the side of the Francis Hopkinson School.

Three people were rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital and the other three were sent to Temple University Hospital for treatment.

All of the injured were occupants of the vehicles involved, and their injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
