Man dead after shooting in Kingsessing

KINGSESSING (WPVI) -- A man is dead after a shooting on Saturday night in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened just before 7 p.m. in the 1500 block of South 53rd Street.

The victim was hit three times.

He was rushed by police to the hospital but was pronounced dead.

There is no word on a suspect or motive in this case.
