Kitten rescued from storm drain 5 feet below

A North Carolina kitten is playing with those nine lives. The fire department had to rescue the ball of fur, stuck five feet down a storm drain.

The storm water nearly drowned the cat.

Luckily, a smart little boy walking with his mother, heard a meow, and asked his mom to call 911.

The kitten came out of the drain, wet and cold, but otherwise healthy.
