BELLMAWR, N.J. (WPVI) -- A robber in Camden County stabbed a laundromat worker then walked off with the entire cash register.

It happened at 3 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of West Browning Road in Bellmawr, right before nearby schools were about to dismiss for the day.

Police ordered staff and students to shelter in place as they worked to locate suspect.

That person remains at large.

The laundromat worker was taken to Cooper University Hospital to be treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Bellmawr Police say they are following several promising leads as they work to track down the suspect.
