MEDIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Delaware man is facing multiple charges in connection with attempting to lure who he thought was a 15-year-old-boy for sex, District Attorney Jack Whelan announced Friday.

Lawrence Kim Walls, 58, of Millsboro is charged with attempted indecent assault and statutory sexual assault and criminal use of a communications facility.

Police said on Oct. 11, Det. Kenneth Bellis of the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division, while posing undercover as a 15-year-old boy named "Nick", responded to an internet ad posted by Walls titled, "Young man wanted - m4m."

During the course of a month, police said, Walls engaged in several conversations with "Nick" that evolved into a sexual nature.

Police said during the conversations, Walls sent nude photos of himself and described sexual acts he wanted to perform on "Nick." Walls also asked "Nick" to send nude pictures.

On Dec. 10, Walls exchanged several text messages with "Nick" and arranged to meet with him.

At 6:43 p.m., Walls was taken into custody without incident shortly after sending a text to "Nick" stating he was at the designated meeting location.

Walls is remanded to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility after failing to post $100,000 cash bail.

"I would like to commend Det. Sgt. Gary Smith of Aston Police as well as Det. Kenneth Bellis along with all the members of the ICAC Task Force for their investigation and swift action to apprehend this dangerous predator," said Whelan. "We believe travelers are some of the most dangerous offenders, as they travel into Delaware County to take advantage of you."
