LINDENWOLD, N.J. (WPVI) -- Camden County Prosecutors says a Sicklerville man has been convicted for a double homicide back in 2011 in Lindenwold, New Jersey.

A jury found 28-year-old James Harris guilty of two counts of first-degree murder and two weapons offenses in the killing of 21-year-old Daquan Harris and 24-year-old Kevin Gould.

Both victims were found fatally shot inside a parked Toyota Camry outside the Pine Ridge Apartments in the 1900 block of Laurel Road on December 9th of that year.

Officials say that Harris was in the backseat of the vehicle when he shot the victims who were sitting in the front.

Harris faces a potential maximum sentence of double life in state prison. He is currently serving a 17-year sentence in federal prison for armed robbery. He is scheduled to be sentenced on February 5th.
