NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man managed to run a few blocks after getting stabbed in Northeast Philadelphia, police said.

The stabbing happened around 11 p.m. Monday on Oakland Street near Cottman Avenue.

Police said the 33-year-old male victim was stabbed in the chest.

He was taken to Aria Health Torresdale Hospital in stable condition.

A knife was recovered from the scene.

No arrests have been made.
