Man and woman shot in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a double shooting that landed a man and a woman in the hospital.

It happened around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday along the 6400 block of Upland Street in Southwest Philadelphia.

The 37-year-old man was shot twice. He was taken by private auto to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He is listed in stable condition.

The second victim, a 23-year-old woman suffered a graze wound. She is also in stable condition at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

So far, there are no arrests or word on a motive.
