Man, 61, hospitalized after motorcycle, sedan collide in New Castle

NEW CASTLE (WPVI) -- A 61-year-old man is hospitalized after a crash involving a motorcycle and sedan in New Castle.

The accident happened at 1:29 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of North DuPont Highway.

Police said a motorcycle, operated by the man, collided with a sedan.

He was treated on the scene for injuries to his head and lower extremity, abrasions and possible internal injuries.

The victim was then rushed to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

Delaware State Police are investigating.
