Man fakes arrest to propose to girlfriend

An Iowa man pulled off the ultimate surprise engagement.

Jeff Schulte came up with his very creative proposal on Thanksgiving.

Last year, he was pulled over in front of his girlfriend's parents' home when he was about to meet them for the first time.

He contacted the same officer to help him pull off the ultimate surprise last week.

With the officer's body camera rolling, the two fooled Schulte's girlfriend into thinking he was being arrested.

He asked Jenna to marry him and she said yes.

Jenna's parents witnessed the whole thing.

They plan to marry in July.
