Family IDs man found unconscious in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a man found lying unconscious in the street last month in Southwest Philadelphia has been identified.

Authorities say as a result of the assistance of local media and the public, the man's family contacted investigators.

A passerby found the man around 2 a.m. on July 9 at 62nd and Grays Avenue.

The victim was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he remains on life support.

No further details have been released.
