Man shot and killed in New Castle, Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Gunfire left a man dead in New Castle, Delaware.

It happened at 1 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Parma Street.

Officers arrived to find a man who had been shot once in the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

New Castle County homicide detectives are trying to determine who shot the man and why.
