BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- Police in Delaware are investigating a shooting that left a man critically wounded.
It happened at 6 a.m. Tuesday at 76th Street and Freedom Road in Bear.
Officers arrived to find a 30-year-old man lying in the street. He had been shot in the face.
Action News is told he appeared to be in cardiac arrest.
Medics rushed him to an area hospital in critical condition.
Police remained on the scene, working to determine who shot the man and why.
