Man shot while sitting in car in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A shooting left a 19-year-old man injured in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened before 10 p.m. Monday in the 3000 block of South 74th Street.

Officers arrived to find the victim sitting in a car with gunshot wounds to his legs, arms and abdomen.

They rushed him Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. There was no immediate word on his condition.

Police are working to determine who shot the man and why.
