Man struck by train in Center City

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- It was a close call for a man at a SEPTA station.

Police say he somehow fell off the platform at 13th Street in Center City, right as the El train was pulling into the station.

Fortunately, the man suffered a non-life threatening injury.

He was able to pull himself up from the tracks and get to the hospital.
