MAYFAIR (WPVI) -- A day after a teen boy died after falling from the top of a moving vehicle in Philadelphia's Mayfair section, police say they've located the vehicle's driver.
The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. Friday night.
Police say the 16-year-old climbed onto the top of a small white car that was stopped in the 3200 block of Levick Street.
The driver of the car started travelling west, with the teen still on top.
On the 2900 block of Levick Street, the victim fell off, but the driver of the vehicle kept going.
The victim was found unconscious but breathing. He was transferred to Aria-Torresdale Hospital where he died on Saturday afternoon.
Investigators are not sure if the teen had gotten out of the car or if he had walked up to the car at random.
The driver and the vehicle were both located on Sunday. Police have not said whether the driver is facing any charges.
The incident remains under investigation.
