SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for a man and woman who held up a 24-hour McDonald's restaurant.

It happened at 1:30 a.m. Sunday on the 7700 block of Island Avenue.

Police soon arrived and business came to a halt at the 24-hour restauarant as detectives had to dust the entire window for fingerprints.

According to investigators, the two suspects jumped in through the window with a gun and knife and robbed the restaurant.

The man had the gun and the woman had the knife.

Once they were inside the duo took all the money from the registers and the safe.

Luckily no one was hurt

After the crime they left the store and took off on foot.

We spoke with Anita Williams Sunday morning who typically swings through before church on Sunday.

Williams said, "Oh my goodness. It's just getting bad everywhere isn't it? I can't believe they would do that to McDonald's."

On Sunday we spoke with many customers who say they've come to expect things like this to happen anywhere.

Sabrina Olah said, "It's sad because everyone lives in fear now and that's not how we should live."

Neighbor Dale Lincoln said, "There are like no morals no more. No morals."
