Medic assaulted by patient in Lawncrest

LAWNCREST (WPVI) -- Police say a Philadelphia Fire Department medic was assaulted by a patient in the city's Lawncrest section.

It happened just after 11 p.m. Friday on the 6300 block of Tabor Avenue.

Police say the man hit the medic before running away.

The medic was treated on scene by his partner.

Police are investigating.

So far, no arrests have been made.
