1 in custody after Middletown Township crash

MIDDLETOWN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- One person is in custody on suspicion of DUI after an accident in Middletown, Delaware County.

The accident occurred around 11:00 a.m. Sunday on Indian Lane.

Police say a vehicle crashed into a utility pole before overturning and trapping the occupants inside.

Crews were able to quickly rescue those inside.

One person was taken into custody.

A couple walking with their children say the vehicle almost struck them.

The accident is under investigation.
