Police: 8-year-old girl missing from Logan found safe. John Rawlins reports during Action News at Noon on September 10, 2018.

LOGAN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say an 8-year-old girl who went missing Sunday night from the Logan section of the city has been found and is safe.

Yazmin Manning walked away from her home on the 5200 block of N. Warnock Street at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Police say she left after a dispute with another resident.

She was discovered in the 4300 block of Darien Street, about a mile from her foster home, on Monday morning.

A neighbor says the little girl walked the distance alone, looking for a friend she could trust.

Police said this is the second time the little eight-year-old had run away from the home.

The first instance was in August, and in that case she returned before a search was begun
