Motorcyclist sideswipes Philadelphia police captain, flees over Ben Franklin Bridge

WEST KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for a driver who sideswiped a police captain during the Puerto Rican Day festivities.

Police said the motorcyclist was riding along the shoulder at 2nd Street and Lehigh Avenue in West Kensington and hit the captain.

Officers pursued the driver, who went the wrong way on I-95, before escaping over the Ben Franklin Bridge into New Jersey.

The police captain was not injured and remained on the job.
