WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police in Wilmington are investigating multiple burglaries at the Sentinel Self Storage facility on Lee Boulevard.

Management has warned nearly 200 storage unit customers that some of their belongings might have been stolen.

The padlocks on the units were sliced Monday night. Officials said the culprits were captured on surveillance video, which is still being downloaded.

"Two unknown suspects wearing dark clothing cut a hole in the northwest perimeter fence and gained access to the property," said Cpl. Mike Austin, Delaware State Police. "Once inside the fence line they made forcible entry to multiple individual storage units."

Several of the victims were mad, including this woman who did not want to be identified. She said she lost about $500 in dry goods.

"As I locked my storage unit up, I saw that a big box of shoes was gone," she said. "And [other] brand new stuff that I was trying to get together for my kids for Christmas and birthdays and such."

Managers at the facility had no comment.
