The World Health Organization says last week was a landmark one - the first time since last June that there were fewer than 100 new cases of Ebola.
There were 65 cases in Sierra Leone, 30 in Guinea, and just 4 in Liberia.
French doctors say, however, there shouldn't be any let-up in efforts to control Ebola.
They are tracking a mutation to the virus that's cropped up in Guinea.
They don't know yet whether it changes how easily Ebola spreads.
