New Castle Co. citizens encouraged to sign up for Reverse 911 notifications

DELAWARE (WPVI) -- Officials in New Castle County, Delaware are working to make sure everyone is signed up for their Reverse 911 Emergency Notifications.

Many neighbors began to complain they did not receive emergency alerts after a toxic gas leak at Croda's chemical manufacturing plant in November.

And on Sunday, not everyone received alerts during a large fire at the Delaware City Refinery.
