WOODBURY, N.J. -- Jurors in New Jersey have found a Philadelphia man guilty of torching his former home that was awarded to his ex-wife and injuring a firefighter.

They convicted 50-year-old Bret Henderson of arson and aggravated assault on Tuesday.

The 2015 fire in the home on Haggas Avenue in Deptford Township occurred two days after Henderson's ex-wife was awarded ownership. The fire marshal said gasoline had been poured in two locations.

A firefighter was burned on his neck during the blaze.

The prosecution argued if Henderson could not have the home, then no one would have it. His lawyer said the case was circumstantial.

The home was demolished.

Sentencing is scheduled for June 30.
