1 dead, 1 injured in Chester shooting

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- One person is dead and another injured after gunfire erupted in Chester, Delaware County.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Monday on the 1400 block of Swarts Street.

Police arrived on the scene to find a man between two parked cars fatally wounded.

A second person was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
