1 hospitalized after 2 crashes involving 12 vehicles on I-95

TACONY (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after two separate accidents involving 12 vehicles on I-95 northbound.

The crash was reported just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday on I-95 northbound near Cottman Avenue in the city's Tacony section.

One person was taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital for what appears to be nonlife-threatening injuries.

One lane was blocked as officials conducted an investigation and cleared the scene.
