One person was seriously hurt after a car and dump truck collided in Bucks County.

PERKASIE, Pa. (WPVI) -- One person was seriously hurt after a car and dump truck collided in Bucks County.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. Thursday on Route 113 and Telegraph Road in Perkasie, Pennsylvania.

Police say the truck was traveling northbound on Route 113 when it collided with a car, driven by an unidentified female, traveling westbound on Telegraph Road.

The truck had the right of way, police say.

A medical helicopter was called to the scene, and the female driver was flown to an area hospital. No word at this time on her condition.

The intersection was shut down for almost two hours.
