Police officer's gun accidentally discharged in Haddon Township

HADDON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A police officer's gun accidentally discharged Thursday in Haddon Township.

It happened around 4:45 p.m. in the unit block of Utica Avenue.

The incident involved two officers from the Audubon Police Department, police said.

Investigators said one of the officer's service weapons was discharged in the driveway of a residence.

No injuries were reported.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office is investigating.
