Woman hit in face with brick in Lawncrest

LAWNCREST (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating the assault of a woman in Lawncrest.

The incident happened just before 6 p.m. Thursday in the 5500 block of North Hill Creek Drive.

Police said a 34-year-old woman was hit with a brick on the left side of her face.

She was rushed to Einstein Medical Center where she is in stable condition.

Police are looking for a known assailant.
