Burglar climbs through restaurant drive-thru window in South Philadelphia

Police are looking for a suspect who burglarized a fast-food restaurant in South Philadelphia.

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for a suspect who burglarized a fast-food restaurant in South Philadelphia.

The incident happened back on August 25 at the Checkers Restaurant on the 2000 block of Oregon Avenue.

The burglar was caught on camera climbing into the restaurant through the drive-thru window at 6 a.m.

Once inside, breaks into the cash register before walking back to the office area and unlocking the safe.

He got away with $600 cash before fleeing the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a black male with a thin build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a baseball cap underneath, blue pants, and black sneakers.
