Man arrested for stealing from unlocked cars

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Police in New Castle County, Delaware say a man was caught with items he stole from unlocked cars.

Police say 26-year-old Delkwane Chambers took belongings from four unlocked vehicles in the Wellington Hills community Sunday.

One of the victims called 911 and police started canvassing the area.

Officers questioned Chambers for hitchhiking along Lancaster Pike, noticed he had some of the missing items, and took him into custody.
