3 suspects sought in South Philadelphia bike theft

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are on the hunt for three suspects who were caught on surveillance stealing a bicycle in South Philadelphia.

The incident occurred on October 21 on the 1600 block of Washington Avenue.

Surveillance video shows the trio eyeing up the bicycle around 5 p.m.

One suspect then hops on the bike and rides it away while the other two act as lookouts.

The suspects then fled the area in an unknown direction.
