Man critical after stabbing in Kensington; 2 suspects wanted

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Two suspects are wanted in connection with a stabbing that left a man critically injured in the city's Kensington section.

The incident happened just before 2 a.m. on Wednesday near East Thompson Street and East Lehigh Avenue.

Police said two men were playing pool inside a bar at that location when they got into a fight.

Both men went outside and one of them, believed to be in his 30s, was stabbed by what appears to be a piece of glass in the chest and torso, police said.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital.

The suspect fled the scene.
