TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Trenton police say the arrest of a single person helped them solve at least 73 car thefts.

38-year-old Ramon Reimer had been stealing late-model Honda Civics and Accords since January, police said.

They allege Reimer would then sell those cars to an auto wrecker in Morrisville, Bucks County, making about $22,000 for himself.

All told, the value of the stolen vehicles totaled more than $100,000.

Police say that salvage yard is now under investigation, with possible charges pending.

Reimer is charged with 73 counts of auto theft, fencing and receiving stolen property. His bail was set at $100,000.
