Man shot in the head in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Police rushed an unidentified man to the hospital after he was shot in Philadelphia's Kensington section.

The shooting happened around 3:00 a.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of East Somerset Street.

The victim had been shot in the head and taken to Temple University Hospital by police. So far, there is no word on his condition.

Reports say two men in a minivan were seen fleeing the area.

Police are investigating the incident.
