Man hospitalized after Chester shooting

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A man was taken to the hospital following a shooting in Chester, Delaware County.

Police responded to reports of shots fired shortly after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at 6th and Barclay streets.

Once on the scene, officers discovered evidence of a shooting, but no victims.

Police later learned the victim, described only as a man, was transported to Crozer Chester Medical Center by a civilian vehicle.

He was being treated for gunshot wounds to the buttocks and arm.

He is expected to survive.

No arrests have been made.
