Man critical in Elmwood shooting

ELMWOOD (WPVI) -- A man is in critical condition following a shooting in the Elmwood section of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 1:00 a.m. Saturday on the 2100 block of South Wanamaker Street.

Police say a man in his 20s was shot multiple times in an alley.

The victim was taken by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Police have not released the man's identity or what sparked the incident.
