Teen hospitalized after Tioga-Nicetown shooting

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in the city's Tioga-Nicetown section.

The shooting happened around 3:45 p.m. along the 1600 block of West Ontario Street.

Police said a male victim, believed to be in his mid to late teens, suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh.

He was transported to Temple University Hospital, and deemed a trauma alert.

So far, no motive or arrests.
