NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police are investigating whether someone may have fired a shot at a motorist driving on I-95.

The incident happened around 2 p.m. Friday in the northbound lanes near the Newark Toll Plaza.

Police said the driver was traveling northbound when he heard a loud noise. He pulled over at the toll plaza, and noticed a hole in the driver's side of the vehicle.
