Person struck and killed by SEPTA train in Lower Makefield, Pa.

LOWER MAKEFIELD, Pa. (WPVI) -- Authorities are investigating the death of a pedestrian on some train tracks in Lower Makefield, Bucks County.

It happened after 10 a.m. Sunday near Woodbourne SEPTA station.

SEPTA tells Action News a northbound train on the West Trenton struck a pedestrian.

There was no immediate word what the person was doing on the tracks.

Foul play was not suspected.

Service on the West Trenton Line between Woodbourne station and West Trenton was suspended as police investigated.

27 people on board the striking train were transferred to a SEPTA bus and shuttled to their destinations.
