Man hospitalized after Wilmington shooting

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- A man is hospitalized after a shooting in Wilmington.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of the 600 block of West 5th Street.

Police said an 18-year-old male was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the left side.

The victim was treated at the scene and then taken to Christiana Hospital where he is listed in critical, but stable condition.

So far, no arrests have been made.
