NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police have arrested a man and charged him with the death of his girlfriend in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Anthony Noble, 27, of Phoenixville was charged on Friday with four counts of felony charges including first-degree murder and other related offenses in the death of Joette Mullen on December 14.

Mullen was found dead in a vehicle at Lock 60, Tow Path Road at the Schuylkill Canal Park by Upper Providence police following a 911 call by a passerby.

After an investigation, it was discovered that Noble allegedly injected multiple needles filled with cocaine into Mullen's arm and watched her die, police say.

Toxicology reports showed that there was a lethal dose of cocaine in Mullen's body, which caused her death.

Noble was arraigned and sent to the Montgomery County Correction Facility.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 29.
