Man hospitalized after shot in face in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A man is in critical condition after a shooting in the city's Kensington section.

It happened around 6:10 p.m. at Ruth and Somerset streets.

Police say a 28-year-old man was shot in the face and twice in the lower body.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

The suspected shooter remains at large, police say.

No word on a motive.
