WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- One person was injured while trying to run from a building collapse in Wilmington, Delaware.

The Wilmington Fire Department was called to the 1100 block of North Heald Street just before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Responding crews say a row home collapsed. It is believed to have been vacant.

However, police say an elderly male neighbor was startled from all of the noise created by the collapse and fell inside his home.

He was transported to Wilmington hospital for evaluation with non-life-threatening injuries.
